  • Do you have a classroom of children learning about space?
  • Are you a childcare centre celebrating Book Week?
  • Are you hosting an event and would like a storyteller to entertain the young and young at heart?

Holly is here to help.

What does a session look like?

Holly uses simple costumes, props, puppets, whiteboards and felt boards to tell traditional folktales and modern favourites. Sessions for under 5s also include songs and nursery rhymes.

Children are active participants in the programs. Participation may include joining in the songs and having a dance or contributing to the story or the storytelling process.

What are the benefits of storytelling?

Storytelling promotes literacy, creativity and listening skills. It offers exposure to different cultures, traditions and values and, of course, it is a lot of fun!

What can Holly do for you?

Holly can offer a program from her repertoire of over 35 themes or design a custom theme that works for your audience and needs.

She is available for one-off bookings or regular visits. She performs weekly in several centres throughout Canberra and has performed in national instutions throughout Canberra. Her audience members eagerly await each week's costumes and themes.
